About me

I decided to start my own business in 2025 so that I could run it my way, focus on digitalisation and to help businesses ahead of Making Tax Digital for Income Tax starting in April 2026.

​

My background is in accountancy practice, having worked for local firms in and around South Yorkshire since graduating from the University of York in 2012. For the last five years I have been working as a manager and then senior manager for a top 100 firm.

​

I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2017, and in 2024 I also became a Chartered Tax Advisor, winning a prize from the Chartered Institute of Tax for my taxation of individuals result along the way. This is something I'm particularly proud of - it took years of dedication and hard work on top of the day job to achieve!

Having worked with a diverse portfolio of clients, I have experience in dealing with most industries and clients of all shapes and sizes. I'm an accountancy software nerd, and love to help my clients make use of it to streamline their processes and make their lives easier!

Outside of the office, I'm a proud fur-mum to two Jackhuahuas and one fluffy cat! I enjoy reading fiction, playing piano, going to rock concerts and festivals with my wife, and finding amazing restaurants to eat at.
